With special offers for small and big business, new potentials can be opened and new alliances can be built.
The members of ASEW are local utilities which focus on environmental and local energy services. In the Cologne office eleven employees bundle and canalise all member-information and their requests. As a know-how-platform in the fields of renewable energies, energy efficiency and rational use of water, the ASEW acquired large reknown in the past 15 years. Four customer and product-managers who are in charge of different areas in Germany care for the employees of the member-utilities. These four customer and product-managers are are familiar with the particularities of "their" regions and act accordingly.
ASEW is working nationwide for a future-oriented development of the public utilities in Germany, without loosing its focus on regional particularities. ASEW helps local utilities to distribute successful service-offers. The members benefit in marketing-cooperation as well as in a common development of new products. The co-operation in the range of customer-loyalty-tools like "ASEW-Erfolgsbarometer (a customer loyalty assessment with annual customers’ surveys and benchmarking service with customer polls)" allows a comparison with other energy suppliers. Only those companies which face up to the competition will be fit for the future. ASEW-members know this and are open to strike new paths, without neglecting well established instruments. Especially in times of the liberalised markets and due to rising costs it is important for local utilities to optimise their services and to adapt them to new market and legal requirements.
